ALex 2007 is being organised by Advent Management Services, a business consultancy managed by Andrew Deeks, formerly deputy managing director of UK aluminium extruder SAPA. Andrew, having worked in the extrusion industry for 20 years, knows it inside out and is currently putting together a significant conference programme which will feature speakers and leading senior personnel from european companies working within or supplying to the extrusion industry.

feel can only benefit extruders, suppliers and end-users throughout Europe.
By bringing together all parties concerned with the industry, I believe an
interaction and dialogue will be encouraged that presently is lacking and will

‘City of Light’ and to become a genuine forum and focal point for the
extrusion industry in Europe in the future. Early indications are that the event
is already generating an excitement and anticipation amongst potential
